To get to Barmouth, you will pass either Harlech (if approaching from the North) or Dolgellau (if approaching from the South or East).

If arriving from Harlech direction:
Follow the road from Harlech and it will bring you into the centre of town, and onto the High Street. You enter the one-way system, passing between the Tal-Y-Don pub on your left and the Factory Shop on the right. After about 200 metres, you come to a junction where you have to give way. Turn right - the one-way system now continues up the slope. You are now on Jubilee Road. As you turn the next bend, you will see a garage (Coastline Tyres) on the right hand side, and beyond the garage there is a hedge also on the right. The gates to Richmond House are the only gates in the hedge – the name is on the gate post and our AA sign is also shown there.

If arriving from Dolgellau direction:
Follow the road from Dolgellau into Barmouth – it will bring you into town with the railway on your left and The Last Inn on the right hand side. Stay on this road until you reach a junction, where the one way system forces you to go left - follow this round the corner and up the slope. You are now on Jubilee Road. As you turn the next bend, you will see a garage on the right hand side, and beyond the garage there is a hedge also on the right. The gates to Richmond House are the only gates in the hedge – the name is on the gate post and our AA sign is also shown there.
